Premier Paper’s growth in display media is cemented by an exclusive deal with leading film supplier.
Premier Papers has become the UK’s exclusive stockist for Drytac’s self adhesive large format materials.
The move comes only weeks after the merchanting group first included Drytac’s range in July this year. At that time Premier was one among a number of dealers able to supply the product. Now that has changed, and Premier’s stock holding and distribution experience comes to the fore, making an ideal combination for Drytac’s manufacturing capabilities say the partners.
Drytac CEO Hayden Kelley explains: “We have very much enjoyed working with Premier over the last couple of months and have already felt the benefits of this partnership. In order to streamline our distribution across the UK and Ireland, we have decided to make our stockist arrangement exclusive.”
The decision is recognition of the work that Premier has done since its first foray in large format graphics and the lessons it has learned in terms of keeping materials in pristine condition on the journey from warehouse to customer. Earlier this year it opened a dedicated display graphics hub at Wellingborough equipped with machinery to cut materials to size and space for 4,000 pallets. Premier trucks now have double-deck beds to accommodate display materials under pallets of paper if required.
“This is a significant move for us,” says wide format media sales director Brad West. “It’s a great opportunity to further grow our wide format sales. The Drytac range will be stocked throughout our branch network and in depth at our display graphics centre in Wellingborough.”
The new partnership will be a major part of the Premier Paper stand at the Print Show later this month. Although in the main a commercial print event, the opportunity to fly the flag for the partnership was simply too great to pass up.
Kelley says: “Visitors will be able to speak with both Premier and Drytac experts about the benefits of working with Drytac materials across a range of print focused projects. They will also be able to learn how these products can help their businesses grow.”
Those products will include the recently introduced SpotOn range of wall and floor graphic materials that are designed for ease of application and for temporary use in retail, experiential and exhibition settings.
