Duplo is twinning its south west London showroom with its Drupa stand to bring the Dusseldorf experience to UK printers that could not get to Germany.
Thus those coming to the showroom can see the latest in booklet making and saddle stitching including the top of the range Senshi, which Duplo hopes will open new market opportunities for the company (and its customers).
There are the enhancement products including the B2 DuSense for spot varnishing and digital foiling. Embellishment was a distinct ‘Drupa trend’ this year, set for exponential growth in coming years. It is also another B2 format product from the company. Duplo will show its Blade B2 digital cutting table and DC20K for preparing the B2 sheet for its multi finishers.
The DuSense will also pair up with the B2 flatbed die cutter to open the way for lightweight carton production. At Drupa there was also an automated folder gluer to finish the production process, but this was a prototype and is not part of the Discover Duplo days.
