It is time to sign up for a new batch of training courses that are to begin in the new year, says the BPIF.
The next BPIF business skills qualification courses get underway in January, with places still available for courses that graduates have universally agreed are highly useful to their careers.
Around 75% of students participating will qualify with a Distinction.
Two of the courses focus on dealing with clients: customer service practitioner at level 2 and level 3. Business administrator level 3 and team leader/supervisor level 3 also begin on 27 January. The fifth course, operations/department manager level 5, starts on 17 February. The courses are designed to facilitate learning while working.
One former participant says that this course was “a fantastic opportunity to gain the knowledge that will allow you to improve the working environment for yourself and your colleagues”. It is equally well regarded by employers. The BPIF says that 94% of employers surveyed believe that the training delivered is relevant and up to date with industry standards.
The courses are delivered remotely by tutors, who themselves have many years’ experience in the industry. There are still plenty of opportunities for networking with others to form support groups and connections that endure well beyond the course itself. On top of this, 100% of companies that send staff on these courses state that they would recommend them to other print companies and 98% of apprentices say they would recommend BPIF training to a friend.
“I couldn’t recommend enrolling on this course more. I have learnt a lot about myself and have identified gaps in my skillset that have helped with my progression and reaching my goals. My confidence in managing others has greatly improved and I am thankful to the BPIF training department,” says one participant.
