Bettine Pellant has stepped up to become the chief executive of Picon, following the retirement of Tim Webb.
Pellant has more than 20 years in the industry, the last seven working alongside Webb at Picon. “I am honoured to be appointed to my new role,” she says. “Thanks to the work of Tim and the Council, Picon is headed in the right direction with a growing membership made up of companies of all sizes, and an expanding roster of alliances with like-minded organisations at national and international level. I will work to enhance these relationships wherever possible.”
One of the first challenges to be tackled will follow the ending of its partnership with Ipex organiser Informa, which ends this spring.
