Bell & Bain managing director Ian Walker bought a Polar guillotine off the stand at Ipex, stopping also to praise the small format Anicolor as “Heidelberg’s trump card”.
The Scottish book printer had bought the press two years ago to produce covers for short run book and journal printing and it was this that opened the door to Heidelberg, leading to the order for the Polar 155X Plus guillotine.
It will replace a Friedheim International-supplied Wohlenberg guillotine at the Glasgow company, but will be used to finish sheets printed on its two KBA Rapida 142 sheetfed presses.
