There is change afoot at this year’s Online Print Symposium as it is to be the first year in which the event’s primary language will be English due to audiences becoming increasingly international. OPS has, however, stated that interpreters will be present to give attendees the option to listen to talks in their preferred language, making it a truly international event and opening it up to an even larger pool of potential attendees.
One thing that is remaining is the OPS’ Insight Pitches. Following a successful application process technology start ups will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation outlining their innovative products in the hope of developing a symbiotic relationship with print businesses. In offering printers ways to modernise their way of working they have the potential to drum up business at a critical point in their own timeline.
