Pixl can open new doors and lock in business

Pixl is more than a photo studio. It is about “closing the loop” says Mark Handford, Pureprint CEO, “by managing the marketing assets that clients have.” It takes Pureprint into content creation and a bigger step into digital marketing. It has been able to send out emails with Purls and landing pages triggered by scanning a QR code, Pixl is somewhat different. It is about the capture and manipulation of images, still and video for social media as well as websites. The business works with a small permanent team calling on freelances as required. This allows it to keep abreast of any changes in style, make up and so on which keeps the images fresh. There will be images for retail point of sale, for the website, videos for social media. The content is piled into a Daily ES system which manages the various formats required and enables access.

“Clients are looking for this,” says Imprint managing director Dave Bullivant. “We are a safe pair of hands especially when during Covid they have restructured and lost people. We can take that on as an outsource provider and we can offer a better service than they used to get from an in-house team.

“When the stores were shut in lockdown retailers needed images for their ecommerce platforms. All clients need photography at some point.”
