Lucy Swanston was successful in pitching for the support of Canon for Topic Heroes, the project to encourage schoolchildren to write and print their own books. The Future Book Forum organised by Canon took place online for the second time, with sustainability of books as the main theme. This aligned the company with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, including equality of opportunity, which is a key part of the appeal of Swanson’s argument to increase literacy among the disinterested young.
