Onlineprinters claims to be the first online print business to offer letterpress printed business cards across its 30 country network.
Business cards produced in this way have been offered via websites (Print Business buys its business cards in this way), but not previously through the online giants. The Neustadt business is not producing the cards itself. Instead it has partnered with Letterpresso, a specialist business in Essen.
Its director Sven Winterstein has been collecting Heidelberg Cylinders and windmill platens for a decade building the business to be the largest letterpress printer in the German speaking countries.
For Onlineprinters CEO Michael Fries the arrangement makes perfect sense. “We have identified the B2B trend of wanting to make a memorable impression with sophisticated print products. So it makes sense to expand our product range by letterpress business cards to win even more discerning customers.”
The company offers three styles of paper in two weights and a choice of 95x45mm or 85x55mm cards.
