Foilco has become a first time winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.
The die stamping foil supplier exports to seven countries and 1,850 customers across the globe. Despite the increase in metallic toners and inks, foil retains its cachet as delivering the highest impact for adding value to luxury goods, including spirits labels, book jackets, cosmetics and greetings cards.
Foilco dates from 1987 and now employs 36. Managing director Paul Hornby says: "We were recommended to enter for this award by the Department for International Trade due to the great strides we have made into exporting to new international markets in recent years.
“This award is a tribute to the hard work every member of the Foilco team put in to ensuring we give our customers the best possible products matched with an unrivalled level of service.”
